School of Psychology Studentships

The School’s studentships come with a modest teaching requirement and are available for full-time doctoral study. These studentships will support research students’ studies and give some teaching experience within the School, leading to the development of a comprehensive portfolio of work.  Applicants for School studentships will be expected to apply for external funding (i.e., ESRC or from home country).  Deadline for applications for School studentships is the 3rd March 2010.

ESRC-Case Studentships

ESRC-Case Studentships and closing date will be announced in March 2010.

ESRC Studentships

We encourage all eligible students (UK and EU applicants) to apply for consideration of an ESRC studentship.  Details of the ESRC competition can be obtained from the School.  The closing date to apply for a 1+3 or +3 studentship is the 3rd March 2010.

We urge all prospective students to contact the School as soon as possible so that we can guide you through the application process. All applications must name a prospective supervisor. Please look through our website and contact that member of staff whose research programme is of interest before applying. Please contact us for application details. Applicants should have, or be expected to obtain, a First or Upper Second class honours degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
